5 Ways to Entertain Your Guests at Your Wedding
During your wedding, not every guest will know each other. Not to mention, you will have to leave guests unattended for photos or other activities, it’s important to find ways to entertain guests at a wedding. Providing some entertainment at your wedding will help guests mingle and bump up the level of fun!
Here are 5 of my favorite ways to entertain guests at a wedding and make yours the most fun!
1. Lawn Games
Having Corn Hole or Bocce Ball out during the reception is going to pull your guests into a fun and social setting with ease. Moving and playing games breaks the ice without making you break a sweat. It’s also a great way for your guests to pass the time while you are taking formal photos. Having games available is one of the most fun ideas for wedding guests and will surely keep them entertained! Once you’re back from photos, you might also consider bride and groom games during the wedding reception to keep the fun going.
2. Food
Having a food truck, Ice Cream truck or mobile coffee truck arrive during your reception is an unexpected treat for your guests! They will love the surprise- trust me, everyone reaches for the s’mores after dancing!
Work with your caterer for special treats, like having a S’mores station! Think about treats during cocktail hour and after reception dancing.
3. Live Music
A live band provides entertainment for Dancers and non-dancers. They are interactive and fun to watch. This experience immerses your guests into the music.
4. Live Painters or Performers
A newer trend in weddings is hiring a live painter for the day. Guests can check in on the progress of the image and you get to keep a beautiful keepsake. You can also hire a palm reader which will definitely get your guests talking and comparing palms!
5. Photo Booths
Not only do photo booths bring out our silliest sides, you get to keep a copy of the photos created through the night. Only a real party pooper can resist these!
